Nearing the end of another season of motorcycle events, the Vance & Hines Show Truck made its second trip of the year to Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona Harley-Davidson for Biketoberfest.
Like its older sibling, Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest draws thousands of motorcyclists from across the country to the Florida coast. For many who come down from the midwest or the northeast, these two Daytona events are the bookends for the riding season, so it was no surprise to see lots of people getting their last trip of the year in at Biketoberfest, before their bikes get put up for the winter.
And for the third Daytona rally in a row, Vance & Hines partnered with Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley to enable consumers to get their bikes customized with Vance & Hines product on demand. Next to the the Vance & Hines Show Truck, the Harley dealer set up an outdoor installation center, so that once customers had the chance to see, listen and discuss their options with the Vance & Hines staff, they could walk right next door to the dealer’s tent to purchase and have the parts installed.
When choosing an exhaust system, it’s also important to consider how the overall performance of the motor will be affected. The best approach to bolt-on performance is to get a high flow air cleaner and a fuel management system when installing an aftermarket exhaust system. And Vance & Hines now offers all three for Harleys.
Along with a new Vance & Hines exhaust system, customers can now also get the Vance & Hines Air Intake. The kit comes complete with a large-inlet backing plate, billet venturi, washable filter element and custom Vance & Hines chrome cover. And at Biketoberfest, the Vance & Hines Air Intake was a big hit among riders also getting their Vance & Hines exhaust system and Fuelpak installed at Daytona Harley.
With the rally season drawing to a close, one event remains on the westcoast, California Bike Week. From October 24-26, the Pomona Fairplex will host the second annual California Bike Week with vendor displays, Harley demo rides and flattrack racing. The event will culminate with the 25th anniversary running of the Love Ride on Sunday from Glendale Harley to the Fairplex.
