VANCE & HINES AT INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW

12/8/08 SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA

The Vance & Hines Show Truck scored one final outing for 2008 with the 28th annual Cycle World International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, California. And the timeliness of the show also proved to be a great venue for Vance & Hines to showcase some of its newest products coming out in 2009.

Billed as the largest motorcycle show series in the world, the Cycle World show makes stops in 13 cities across the United States in just under three months. And with Southern California being one of the largest markets in the nation for motorcyclists, there was indeed an outstanding turnout of visitors walking the convention halls to catch a glimpse of the latest vehicles and accessory products.

Of particular note, this event marked the widest breadth of product Vance & Hines has ever put on display in its 30-year history. Commemorating this milestone, in 2009, Vance & Hines will be offering product for the American v-twin, metric cruiser and sportbike markets as well as the off-road market.

For the highly updated 2009 Harley-Davidson Touring line-up, Vance & Hines displayed its Power Duals crossover performance headers and Monster Ovals slip-on mufflers on a 2009 Street Glide. The Power Duals header system is the latest design breakthrough from Vance & Hines, featuring a unique crossover system encased by an elegantly contoured heat shield, yielding a custom look that transforms a stock Touring bike.

For metric cruisers, new generation Big Shots were displayed on a 2009 Yamaha Road Star. With large oversized mufflers and proprietary Power Chamber, Big Shots are becoming established as the benchmark for large displacement metric cruisers, providing substantial gains in performance with an aggressive yet reasonable exhaust note.

For sportbikes, Vance & Hines returns to its roots with a new line of slip-on mufflers under the name CS One. This unique trapezoidal canister is contructed of stainless steel and will be offered with a polished or black ceramic finish for 600 and liter class supersport bikes as well as other popular sport models.

And for off-road bikes, the Titanium Pro and Aluminum Pro full system competition exhausts were on display as well as the XCR slip-on muffler. Re-engineered for better performance and durability, these three products form the core of Vance & Hines’ foray into the motorcross and off-road market for 2009.

With such an expanded product line-up covering all major vehicle segments, Vance & Hines will likewise expand its promotional activities in the coming year with additional display trucks covering events across the entire motorcycle enthusiast spectrum.
