Another successful weekend for the V&H amateur race team. Preston Tilford was back in action at Glen Helen raceway for the local REM race on Saturday and the Golden State CMC race on Sunday.

On Saturday Preston dominated the pro class at the REM race held at Glen Helen winning both motos in convincing fashion. Last week's focus with Preston had been to work on his starts and it paid dividends as he took the holeshot in both motos.

Sunday's race was also held at Glen Helen on a different track and brought out some top-level talent from around Southern California. Preston put in two strong motos, in the 450 Pro class he finished a solid 4th and in the Open Pro class he finished 2nd. Overall a very strong finish as this marked Preston's first race at the pro level against some very good competition.

The race action will resume on Jan 31st as we head out back out to Glen Helen for the Gold Cup Series.
