VANCE & HINES AT DAYTONA BIKEWEEK

03/13/2006 SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA - The 65th running of Daytona Bike Week is now over. With beautiful weather throughout the entire event, Bike Week drew out motorcyclists of all generations, in all types of two-wheeled machinery. And the Vance & Hines Show Truck was there to give enthusiasts a taste of what a performance exhaust system can do for a bike.

Traditionally, the big centers of activity for Bike Week have been Main Street and the Speedway, but now there’s a third location to add to the mix; Destination Daytona. The name says it all. It’s the location of the new Daytona Harley-Davidson dealership in Ormond Beach and it’s the spot where the Vance & Hines Show Truck dropped anchor for the ten-day rally. With it’s own hotel, eateries, live music and rows of vendors, the world’s largest Harley dealer drew thousands of riders each day from dawn until dusk.

For the Show Truck, it was a great opportunity to show off the latest and greatest of the Vance & Hines lineup. With six motorcycles on display, prospective buyers had the chance to see how sharp a Vance & Hines exhaust system looks on a bike, and moreover, how sweet it rumbles on a big v-twin motor.

As fuel injection continues to gain popularity on late model Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Vance & Hines has responded with Fuelpak, the best way to get perfect fuel delivery. With a new interactive display, visitors had the chance to learn and experience just how easy it is to install and setup Fuelpak on their motorcycles.

Also making its public debut, Vance & Hines Motorsports unveiled its new supercharger system for the V-Rod. A complete bolt-on kit, the supercharger gives the V-Rod 7-11 pounds of boost on a stock motor to make it the king of both the street and the strip.

All in all a tremendous success, the Show Truck is now on its way back to the shop to get ready for Arizona Bike Week. Be sure to catch the Vance & Hines crew at Firebird International Raceway from April 7th through the 9th where Vance & Hines nitro racer Doug Vancil will be competing in round 2 of the AHDRA Top Fuel Harley Championship.
