VANCE & HINES AT DAYTONA BIKE WEEK
3/12/08 SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA - Kicking off another year of supporting the best biker rallies across the country, the Vance & Hines Show Truck headed out to Florida for Daytona Beach Bike Week. The ten-day event draws hundreds of thousands of riders from all corners of the globe to Volusia County to celebrate the culture of motorcycling.
Anchored by one of the most prestigious motorcycle races in the US, the Daytona 200, Bike Week sees riders of all types of interests from baggers to choppers and enduros to sportbikes. While Bike Week activities take place all over the Daytona Beach area, ground zero for the Harley crowd is Bruce Rossmeyer’s Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach, which is where the Vance & Hines Show Truck could be found for the third straight year.
And as was done back at Biketoberfest six months ago, Daytona Harley-Davidson stepped up to sell and install Vance & Hines exhausts out on the lot throughout Bike Week, so customers could see and hear the exhausts they’re looking for at the Vance & Hines Show Truck display, and then walk right next door to the Daytona H-D installation center for some instant gratification.
One of the best selling systems at this year’s Bike Week proved to be Big Shot Duals for Touring models. An excellent value for a sleek looking true-dual and blue-proof full system exhaust, Big Shot Duals do pack a good bark even with the stock baffles. But customers at Daytona Harley also had the option of getting a set of Vance & Hines Quiet Baffles, which reduce sound levels by 3 decibels and more importantly give the exhaust note a deeper and richer tone.
2008 is going to be a huge year for new product from Vance & Hines, including the soon to be released VO2 air intake kit for all big twin Harleys and Monster Oval Slip-ons for Touring models. Throughout the year, the Vance & Hines Show Truck will be on display at top rally venues around the nation to showcase all of the new exciting products coming out of the creative minds back at the factory. The next stop for the Show Truck will be at the Laughlin River Run from April 23rd through 27th.
