MOB Racing Adds Cory Texter to its Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XR1200 Effort

“Cory and I began talking a few months ago about his desire to move up and race in what has become, in my opinion, the most competetive and exciting series GEICO Motorcycle AMA Pro Road Racing puts on the grid, the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series! Cory definately has the desire, skill and backing to succeed at the AMA Pro level, and based on his test times and the coaching report I got from his good friend and MOB Racing’s first National Champ and Tyco Suzuki BSB star PJ Jacobsen, he’s gonna open a few eyes when the flag drops at Daytona!” says team owner Dennis Espinosa
Cory is a past AMA National Champion who scored multiple wins last season in the AMA All-Star Flattrack Series. His dedication to the sport is also noteworthy as he was honored as the AMA’s Most Dedicated Rider in 2010. He currently holds National number 65 in AMA Pro Flat Track.
His family has one of the strongest motorcycling backgrounds in AMA history. His dad Randy is a former champion in the US Twin Sports Series and and his sister, Shayna is the first and only female to date to claim a Grand National Flat Track main event win.
“I can’t say enough how excited I am to be joining the MOB Racing team for the 2013 season. I wanted a new challenge and the chance to ride something I know is capable of winning races on and we finally put the deal together. Dennis and his team have proven they can win races at this level and they have a lot of confidence in me to put the MOB Racing Harley-Davidson up front this season. I can’t wait to get down to Daytona and have some fun!” says Cory about joining MOB Racing.
Cory will also compete this season in select AMA All-Star Flattrack Series Events for the Parkinson Bros/Lancaster Honda Racing Team.
