My first impressions of the Vance & Hines Holeshot Series Exhaust were “WOW”…looks good, sounds great! However, purposefully waited to write this to give an honest review after that initial excitement faded and I’ve lived with this exhaust system for a while. I’ve had this cat-back exhaust on my 2023 Ram 1500 for over 8000 miles now, and I am still just as happy with it as that first start. Whether it’s cruising down the highway, towing up and down grades, throwing a little dirt off-road, or idling in the driveway this exhaust still looks and sounds amazing. Cold starts are much more impressive, but not obnoxious. Cruising at highway speeds – loaded and unloaded – there is no noticeable drone, and even when MDS kicks in the noises coming from those Eliminator tips are enjoyable. Freeway onramps or overtaking results in a nice rumble, and when the pedal goes to the floor the exhaust produces an impressive roar. Long story short, the Vance & Hines Holeshot Exhaust is an excellent complement for the 5.7L Hemi V8, and I have yet to experience a scenario where sound or overall product quality have left me wanting more. Aside from the soundtrack, this exhaust system is made from quality materials and is a simple install. Once the pieces were in place and clamps tightened to spec I haven’t had to touch any hardware, adjust tips, nada! If you’re looking for a badass exhaust for your Ram, look no further than the Vance & Hines Holeshot Exhaust!
