Black Hills Harley-Davidson, one of the top Harley-Davidson dealerships in the United States, has donated a race-replica Harley-Davidson XG750 that will be displayed at all 18 American Flat Track events in 2017.

Terry Rymer, general manager of Black Hills Harley-Davidson of Rapid City, S.D., presented the XG750R at the season opener in Daytona, which carries a paint scheme identical to the three Factory Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

“American Flat Track is thankful to Terry Rymer and Black Hills Harley-Davidson for donating this beautiful motorcycle,” said Cameron Gray, COO of American Flat Track. “I’m sure all of our fans will enjoy seeing this bike up close. They will be amazed how closely it resembles the three Factory Harleys they will see on the race track.”

Terry Vance of Vance & Hines – who handles the operational duties of Harley-Davidson’s Factory Flat Track team – donated a Vance & Hines racing exhaust, tuner and racing air cleaner. Black Hills Harley-Davidson then painted the bike and added the racing equipment to make the street bike a close replica of its racing counterparts.

“This is an XG750 that’s dressed up in our (racing) clothing to make it look like an XG750R,” Rymer explained. “The biggest difference between the two bikes is that the race bikes have modified frames, travel bodies and racing engines. Basically, we took a stock 2016 Harley-Davidson XG750 and put the XG750R paint scheme on it, and then we dressed it up with a Vance & Hines 2-Into-1 exhaust, Vance & Hines race tuner, and Vance & Hines air cleaner. It’s going to be exciting to see the bike at all of the AFT races this season.”

The next stop for the XG750 race-replica will be at the Law Tigers Arizona Mile on May 13. It then moves on to two of the sport’s most iconic venues – the Harley-Davidson Sacramento Mile on May 20 and the Harley-Davidson Springfield Mile I on May 28.
