Santa Fe Springs, CA (January 1, 2016) – Vance & Hines announces that it has made revisions to its unilateral Minimum Advertised Price (“MAP”) policy, along with updates to its Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (“MSRP”) schedule. Retailers may use the month of January to review and make changes to their advertisements. Enforcement of the revised changes will be enforced starting on February 1, 2016.

The most notable change to the MAP policy is the requirement that prices listed in a retailer’s advertisement be no lower than MSRP. In the previous revision of the MAP policy, a retailer’s advertised price was allowed to be as much as 10% below MSRP. Keeping advertisements listed at MSRP both preserves the premium image of the brand and further supports the effort for after sales service provided by retailers.

Vance & Hines products that are subject to the MAP policy are listed in the current MSRP schedule. The latest MSRP schedule is published as of January 1, 2016. Some older products are no longer listed in the MSRP schedule, and therefore are not subject to the MAP policy. In addition, it should be noted MSRP has been adjusted for certain products and several new products have also been added to the MSRP schedule.

Any questions regarding the revised MAP policy may be directed to mapadministrator@vanceandhines.com. A copy of the updated MAP policy and most current MSRP schedule can be found at: vanceandhines.com/map-policy
