Fuelpak FP3 California is an ECM flash tuner that has been listed by the California Air Resources Board as an exempt aftermarket part under Executive Order No. D-632-2. Under the grant of this EO, the Fuelpak FP3 California is permitted for sale and use on certain HDLAN (CAN bus) Harley-Davidson models (see chart at the bottom of this page), including Touring, Softail, Dyna, Sportster and Street models in the state of California.
Fuelpak FP3 California connects wirelessly by Bluetooth to iPhone and Android smartphones and recalibrates engine parameters without increasing vehicle emissions. Maps are available for exhaust and intake upgrades that either qualify as CARB replacement parts or have been issued a CARB EO, and certain tuning parameters are restricted to ensure compliance with California emissions standards.
Key features that are tunable with Fuelpak FP3 California are Throttle Progressivity (for throttle-by-wire models) and Engine Rev Limit. Other tuning parameters are limited to adjustment in higher RPM and throttle position ranges only.
All standard View Sensor Data features such as RPM, engine temperature, battery voltage and others are available with Fuelpak FP3 California, as well as all the latest user-oriented features like instantaneous/average fuel economy, and horsepower/torque estimators. Diagnostic Trouble Codes can also be read and cleared with Fuelpak FP3 California.
